Law Society president steps down
(08-19 13:02)

Law Society president Ambrose Lam San-keung will resign from the position, he said before the Council meeting today.
Lam came under fire after he expressed support for the White Paper published recently by Beijing, which regarded judges in Hong Kong as "administrators".
Member, Kevin Yam Kin-fung, who initiated the no-confidence motion, called on the Council to respect members' views. --RTHK/The Standard
