Thailand building collapse kills 1

Police in Thailand say part of a six-story building under construction has collapsed outside the capital, killing one worker and trapping 10 others underneath the rubble.
Police Maj. Gen. Smithi Mookdasanit says seven people have been rescued from the site.
Smithi says there were about 30 workers in the area at the time of the collapse on Monday.
The building was to be a dormitory for a local vocational college. It's located just north of Bangkok, in Pathumthani province. --AP
