UK factory production rebounds

Industrial output across Britain rebounded in June from activity in May, official data showed on Wednesday.
Output rose by 0.3 percent in June compared with a fall of 0.6 percent in May, the Office for National Statistics said in a statement.
Over a 12-month period, industrial output rose by 1.2 percent in June, the ONS added.
Manufacturing output -- which excludes mining and quarrying, electricity, gas and water supply -- climbed 0.3 percent in June compared with May. It increased by 1.9 percent year-on-year. --AFP
