Nikkei gives up early gains

Tokyo stocks fell 0.24 percent on Tuesday morning, losing early gains driven by a positive session on Wall Street.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was down 37.90 points at 15,436.60 by the break, while the Topix index of all first-section issues lost 0.26 percent, or 3.27 points, to 1,272.92. --AFP
