Panasonic profit dives
(07-31 16:02)

Panasonic on Thursday posted a US$369 million net profit for the three months to June, down 65 percent from a year ago when the Japanese electronics giant logged a big one-off gain from a pension scheme change.
The Osaka-based company said net profit hit 37.93 billion yen, as it separately announced it has inked a deal with US electric car maker Tesla to build a huge battery manufacturing plant in the United States. --AFP
