Nikkei ends lower

Tokyo stocks closed down 0.16 percent Thursday, giving up early gains as buying on robust US growth data and the yen's fall ran its course.
The Nikkei 225 index lost 25.46 points to 15,620.77, while the Topix index of all first-section shares was down 0.22 percent, or 2.82 points, to 1,289.42. --AFP
