Hang Seng dips at mid-day

Hong Kong stocks ended the morning 0.13 percent lower despite better-than-expected second-quarter US growth data, while profit-takers moved in after seven straight gains.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index slipped 30.93 points to 24,701.28 on turnover of HK$40.09 billion. --AFP
