Hang Seng up at mid-day

Hong Kong shares ended the morning session 0.39 percent higher on Thursday after preliminary figures showed an index of Chinese manufacturing activity hit an 18-month high in June.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 93.42 points to 24,065.29 by the break on turnover of HK$42.82 billion. --AFP
