Hang Seng, Shanghai end lower

Hong Kong stocks ended 0.29 percent lower on Monday despite a Wall Street rally as early gains after last week's losses were wiped out.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index eased 67.65 points to 23,387.14 on turnover of HK$42.91 billion.
In China the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.22 percent, or 4.59 points, to 2,054.48 on turnover of 75.7 billion yuan.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged down 0.11 percent, or 1.17 points, to 1,100.09 on turnover of 94.2 billion yuan. --AFP
