Macau CE announces re-election manifesto
(07-15 17:23)

Macau's Chief Executive, Fernando Chui Sai-on, says he'll give priority to improving the people's livelihood if he is elected to a second term to govern the former Portuguese enclave.
In announcing his re-election manifesto on the second day of the nomination period, Chui expressed confidence that he will win the election next month.
Chui says if he gets another five years in the top job his government will tackle housing and transport problems, and deal with environmental, welfare and labor concerns.
Chui also pledged to steadily advance democratic development and ensure a clean and efficient administration, while maintaining a high degree of autonomy under the One Country, Two Systems principle. --RTHK
