Protesters report alleged police assault
(07-14 18:36)

Four demonstrators, who accused police officers of assaulting them in a police van last month, have demanded the force to carry out a criminal investigation into the case.
They were among demonstrators arrested last month after opponents to plans to develop the Northeast New Territories tried to storm the LegCo building.
The group filed a report of the alleged assault to the Wanchai police Monday afternoon.
However, police said the case will be referred to the Complaints Against Police Office. --RTHK
