Protest against TKO landfill
(07-11 18:05)

Opponents to the Tseung Kwan O landfill expansion plan say they may consider blocking a main road to the tip on Saturday, if the legislature approves the controversial funding request.
The group say they expect hundreds of people to join their action.
In a protest outside LegCo Friday, the group poured fake blood over district councilor Christine Fong Kwok-shan, accusing the government of polarizing the public by forcing Tseung Kwan O residents to sacrifice their health for the rest of Hong Kong.
Fong says occupying Wan Po Road is the last resort. --RTHK
