Ban on cardiologist Yu justified: HA

An independent review committee set up by the Hospital Authority has concluded that the Prince Of Wales Hospital was justified in suspending one of its top heart surgeons, Yu Cheuk-man, from his duties last year.
Yu was banned from performing surgery after several of his colleagues complained about the quality of his work.
The committee said some of the concerns raised were valid, including that Professor Yu had refused help from others in the medical team, even though it may have benefited the patients.
