Commerce Bureau bashed over Mega Events Fund
(07-09 12:30)

The Legislative Council's Public Accounts Committee has criticized the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau and the Tourism Commission for their lax oversight of the Mega Events Fund.
This follows a scathing report in April from the government Auditor on the Tourism Commission fund.
The chairman of the Committee, lawmaker Abraham Shek Lai-him, urged the government to implement the recommendations suggested in the Auditor and Committee's reports. --RTHK
