Kerry warns against Afghanistan power grab

US Secretary of State John Kerry warned Tuesday that any bid to grab power in Afghanistan amid turmoil over disputed elections would threaten vital international aid.
"Any action to take power by extra-legal means will cost Afghanistan the financial and security support of the United States and the international community,'' Kerry said, adding he had noted with "gravest concern'' reports of a parallel government. --AFP
