Travel alert for Thailand lowered to amber
(07-03 16:21)

The government has adjusted the Outbound Travel Alert (OTA) for Thailand to amber.
"Thailand remains under martial law. Hong Kong residents who intend to visit the country or are already there should monitor the situation, exercise caution, attend to personal safety and avoid protests and large gatherings of people,'' a government spokesman said.
Hong Kong residents are encouraged to use the online Registration of Outbound Travel Information service (www.gov.hk/roti) to register their contact details and itinerary when outside Hong Kong.
