Nikkei slips at break, losing early gains
(07-03 10:46)

Tokyo stocks slipped in Thursday morning trade, losing early gains that came after Wall Street edged to new records and as the weaker yen boosted exporter shares.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index, which opened 0.43 percent higher, was down 0.06 percent, or 9.23 points, to 15,360.74 by the break.
The Topix index of all first-section shares lost 0.19 percent, or 2.41 points, to 1,278.37. --AFP
