Consultant to look at airport project
(06-17 17:21)

The Airport Authority has appointed a consultant to look at the third runway project amid media reports that the cost is expected to rise by 50 percent to more than HK$200 billion.
The Authority's chairman, Vincent Lo, said he couldn't confirm at this time whether there is a cost overrun.
Mr Lo spoke to reporters after a board meeting during which it appointed the executive director of the Trade Development Council, Fred Lam, as the Authority's Chief Executive. --RTHK
