Support for 1989 vindication falls: poll
(06-03 18:38)

Hong Kong University pollsters have released a survey showing what they say is a 'significant' drop in public support for calls to vindicate the mainland pro-democracy movement in 1989.
The poll also found a fall in popularity for the Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements in China, which spearheads calls for Beijing to reverse its verdict on the movement.
China has again defended the crushing of the demonstrators, terming the protests "counter-revolutionary." --RTHK
