New York child stabber at large
(06-03 17:48)

New York police searched Monday for a man suspected of stabbing two children in an elevator, killing a six-year-old boy.
Prince Joshua Avitto died in Sunday evening's attack at a Brooklyn apartment building. Seven-year-old Mikayla Capers suffered a pierced lung and was hospitalized in critical condition.
Police have not excluded that the suspect, described as a man in his 20s, also fatally stabbed an 18-year-old girl found Friday evening on a street near Sunday's crime scene.
That victim had been repeatedly struck in the neck, abdomen and back. --AFP
