Three die in Taipei subway attack

Three people have died and about ten were injured in an alleged random subway attack in Taipei City on Wednesday afternoon.
A man began to attack passengers with a knife in a carriage at about 4.30pm. He then tried to run away.
He was captured by police and is under interrogation.
Police said the man smelled of alcohol. --Xinhua
