CLP calls for two-pronged energy expansion
(05-21 17:56)

CLP Power says the government should build more natural gas units in Hong Kong, and at the same time study ways to import more electricity from the mainland.
A government consultation asks the public to express a preference for one of the two options. But CLP says the government shouldn't rush into a decision on the issue.
It says Hong Kong needs to build more natural gas units anyway, to meet the government's emission targets for 2020. --RTHK
