Nikkei edges down

Tokyo stocks closed 0.24 percent lower on Wednesday following losses on Wall Street, while the stronger yen hit exporters.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index eased 33.08 points to 14,042.17, while the Topix index of all first-section shares fell 0.29 percent, or 3.33 points, to 1,150.05. --AFP
