CE criticizes filibuster before Exco meeting
(05-20 11:16)

Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying has called on the public to voice its opposition to the ongoing filibuster in Legco.
Speaking ahead of the weekly Executive Council meeting, Leung said the work of the Legislative Council has almost ground to a halt -- and funding for education and the elderly is being affected.
A number of pan democrat lawmakers are filibustering the budget bill. They want the government to provide a universal pension plan and cash handouts. --RTHK
