Nikkei inches up at mid-day

Tokyo stocks rose 0.86 percent Tuesday morning, tracking gains on Wall Street and as the weaker yen gave exporters a boost.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index added 119.90 points to 14,126.34 by the break, while the Topix index of all first-section shares rose 0.59 percent, or 6.80 points, to 1,156.87. --AFP
