Support for 7-days paternity leave
(05-14 15:43)

A survey suggests that new fathers should be entilted to at least seven days of paternity leave.
The government is currently proposing three days. Two thirds of almost 830 people questioned for the poll by the Democratic Party also want the current 10 weeks of maternity leave increased to 14.
The party's spokeswoman for women and gender policy, lawmaker Helena Wong, said that she expects some employers in the business sector to oppose any change. --RTHK
