European stocks open higher

Europe's main stock markets nudged higher at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.20 percent at 6,865.56 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 edged up 0.05 percent to 9,751.05 and the Paris CAC 40 grew 0.24 percent to 4,504.22 points, compared with Monday's closing levels. --AFP
