Govt may relax on property curbs

The government is set relax some cooling measures on property market, sources said.
Secretary for Financial Services and Treasury Caejar Chan Ka-keung is expected to provide details, which may include the extensions of waiver period for the double stamp duty on homebuyers who sell their units, in the Legco tomorrow.
Homebuyers are currently allowed to waive the DSD if they sell their homes within six months.
