MTRC chief to get no contract extension

MTRC chief executive Jay Walder will not get any contract extension after finishing the current one in August 2015, chairman Raymond Ch'ien Kuo-fung told the shareholders in the annual general meeting.
Ch'ien said the transit operator will start global recruitment and hopes to get the right person for the postion.
On the construction of the express rails, Ch'ien said he is confident that MTRC will be able to complete the project in 2017.
