JAL net profit dips in 2013

Japan Airlines Co. logged 166.25 billion yen in net profit in 2013, down 3.2 percent from the previous year, mainly due to the higher fuel costs stemming from a weaker yen.
The consolidated operation profit declined 14.6 percent to 166. 78 billion yen for the same reason, the company said on Wednesday.
It is expecting a group profit of 1.12 billion dollars in the current fiscal year from April, down 30.8 percent from fiscal 2013, and operating profit of 1.36 billion dollars, down 16.1 percent. --Xinhua
