Suspected parcel bomb spotted at Greek police station
(04-29 19:03)

Greek authorities say a suspected parcel bomb has been found at police station and will be examined by anti-terrorism experts.
A police statement said the incident occurred Tuesday at the police station in Itea, nearly 180 kilometers west of Athens, after officers received the parcel which was labeled to contain religious books.
Militant far-anarchist groups have carried out parcel bomb attacks in the past in Greece, including a spate of attacks in 2010 blamed on the Greek group Conspiracy Nuclei of Fire. One of the parcel bombs reached an outer office of German Chancellor Angela Merkel. --AP
