US stands with Ukraine in face of 'humiliating threats': Biden

The United States is standing by Ukraine in the face of "humiliating threats'' ahead of a crucial presidential election next month, US Vice President Joe Biden told legislators in Kiev Tuesday.
"You face very daunting problems, and some might say, humiliating threats,'' Biden said, adding that the poll set for May 25 could be "the most important election in Ukrainian history''. --AFP
