Hang Seng slumps by break

Hong Kong stocks tumbled 1.09 percent Tuesday morning as investors ignored a rally on Wall Street ahead of the release of Chinese economic growth data later in the week.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index was down 250.12 points at 22,788.68 by the break on turnover of HK$29.69 billion. --AFP
