Hang Seng, Shanghai rerteat

Stocks in Hong Kong fell at the start of trade. The benchmark Hang Seng Index eased by 0.3 percent to 22,489.52.
In Shanghai, shares fell 0.30 percent in opening trade. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index eased 6.16 points to 2,037.54.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, retreated 0.31 percent, or 3.30 points, to 1,052.28.—AFP/The Standard
