European equities mixed

Europe's main stock markets were mostly steady at the start of trading.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index was down 0.03 percent to 6,650.32 points.
The Paris CAC 40 edged up 0.05 percent to 4,428.79 points, while in Frankfurt the DAX 30 advanced 0.26 percent to stand at 9,628.76 compared with Tuesday's closing values.—AFP
