(HK Sevens) Fiji overhaul US to secure cup semi-final slot

Fijian Osea Kolinisau touched down in the dying minutes of their cup quarterfinal game against the US to hold off the American challenge today at Hong Kong Stadium. They won 17-5.
Mike Palefau scored the only try for the US. A second half try by Brett Thompson for the Americans was not allowed, drawing jeers from the crowd. Danny Barrett was also bundled into touch in his scoring attempt.
Samisoni Viriviri put the first points on the board for Fiji and skipper Osea Kolinisau added more in the first half. Fiji led 12-5 at the break.
