Young bike rider killed in Pat Heung crash

A 34-year-old man riding a motorcycle was killed early today in a traffic accident in Pat Heung.
Police said that at about 6.30am, the man had been riding his motorcycle along Kam Tin Road towards Sheung Shui and as he approached a petrol station, the bike is suspected to have hit the back of a truck. The bike rider had tried to overtake the truck.
He suffered serious head injuries and was certified dead at 7.12am at Pok Oi Hospital. --The Standard
