Kowloon Tong site for community use

Coveted land in Kowloon Tong, which the Baptist University had sought for a Chinese medicine teaching hospital, will not be rezoned for housing.
The Town Planning Board has decided that the former Lee Wai Lee campus will remain as a site for government, institution or community use.
The government originally wanted the site for flats before saying that a school for special needs children should be built on it.—RTHK
