IKEA recalls bed canopies that could strangle toddlers

IKEA announced today that it is recalling several children’s bed canopies that could strangle toddlers. The bed canopies have been sold since 1996.
The affected bed canopies are: LEGENDARISK, MINNEN bed canopy set, BARNSLIG BOLL, MINNEN Brodyr, HIMMEL, FABLER, TISSLA and KLÄMMIG.
IKEA said it has “identified a potential strangulation hazard’’ and that it “has received reports of entanglement when net is pulled into the cots/beds and entangled around infant’s necks.
There have not been any permanent injuries.
The company is offering a full refund. --The Standard
