Two plumbers accused of carrying out last month's attack on the former chief editor of the Ming Pao newspaper, Kevin Lau Chun-to, have appeared in Eastern Court.

The attack occurred in Tai Hong Street in Sai Wan Ho on February 26. The defendants were also jointly accused of stealing a motorcycle in Fanling between February 12 and 13.
No plea was taken and principal magistrate, Bina Chanrai, remanded both men in custody until next Tuesday for an identification parade to be held. --RTHK
