Prosecutors seek 5 years' jail for Bayern boss
(03-13 17:52)

German prosecutors demanded five and a half years in jail Thursday for Bayern Munich boss Uli Hoeness for evading millions in taxes.
Prosecutor Achim von Engel sought the prison sentence on the day a verdict was expected in a trial that has captivated football-obsessed Germany this week.
Hoeness, 62, has admitted to evading 27.2 million euros in taxes by hiding his wealth in Swiss bank accounts. --AFP
