European equities advance

Europe's main stock markets advanced at the start of trading today.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.14 percent at 6,629.86 points. Frankfurt's DAX 30 rose 0.12 percent to 9,200.12 points and in Paris the CAC 40 added 0.21 percent to 4,315.37 compared with Wednesday's closing values.—AFP
