Hang Seng retreats, Shanghai climbs at close

The Hang Seng Index closed down 0.7 percent at 21,756.08 points today.
In Shanghai, the Shanghai Composite Index closed higher 24.42 points, or 1.07 percent, to 2,019.11. Turnover fell to 87.278 billion yuan.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed higher 102.27 points, or 1.42 percent, to 7,319.29. Turnover was 95.632 billion yuan.
