(NPC) Premier Li reiterates unwavering support for Hong Kong, salutes city’s enterprising spirit

Premier Li Keqiang said today Beijing’s policy on Hong Kong and Macau remains consistent and clear as he underlined support for the city to maintain and elevate its status as an international financial and trading hub.
He said the “enterprising spirit,’’ of Hong Kong people gave him confidence that the city will maintain its competitive edge and remain prosperous.
He was speaking at a briefing following the end of the annual session of the National People's Congress in Beijing today.—The Standard
