Hang Seng dives, Shanghai lower

Stocks in Hong Kong slipped 1.13 percent in opening exchanges following a second day of losses on Wall Street. The benchmark Hang Seng Index was down 250.58 points at 22,019.03.
In Shanghai, shares were lower in morning trade. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.35 percent, or 7.05 points, to 1,994.11.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, lost 0.25 percent, or 2.64 points, to 1,061.66.—AFP
