Europe benchmarks gain

Europe's main stock markets gained at the start of trading. London's benchmark FTSE 100 index was up by 0.15 percent to 6,699.23 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 climbed 0.32 percent to 9,295.32 points and in Paris the CAC 40 gained also 0.32 percent to stand at 4,384.69 compared with Monday's closing values.—AFP
