Nikkei rallies

Stocks in Tokyo gained 0.74 percent. The Nikkei-225 index rose 111.33 points to 15,231.47 by the break, while the Topix index of all first-section shares added 0.54 percent, or 6.67 points, to 1,234.28.—AFP
