Town planners urged to lift lid on PLA site talks

The Town Planning Board has been accused of hiding the minutes of its deliberations on rezoning a waterfront site in Central to allow for a military pier for the People's Liberation Army.
The Central Waterfront Concern Group said that if the board continued to keep the documents confidential, it would make it difficult for them to launch a possible judicial review against its controversial decision.
The group also urged the Chief Executive, Leung Chun-ying, to veto the board's decision to rezone the area. –RTHK
