Attacked ex-editor Kevin Lau recovering from surgery, but remains in critical condition

The former chief editor of Ming Pao, Kevin Lau, is recovering from surgery following a brutal chopper attack Wednesday morning in Sai Wan Ho.
But he remains in a critical condition in intensive care.
Ming Pao said in an editorial, meanwhile, the attack was the darkest day for journalism.
Police returned to the spot in Sai Wan Ho, where the attack took place at 10:20 in the morning yesterday.
