Hang Seng edges up, Shanghai flat

Stocks in Hong Kong inched up 0.13 percent in the first few minutes of trade, adding to the previous day's gains, following a positive lead from Wall Street.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 28.52 points to 22,465.96 in early exchanges.
In Shanghai, were flat in morning trade. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.04 percent, or 0.71 points, to 2,040.54.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged up 0.09 percent, or 0.98 points, to 1,095.71.—AFP
